I decided that I liked my kiddos Flower Power pillow so much that I would make myself one that was a bit more subdue in color. (My hubby wouldn't care much for a rainbow) I used Lily's Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn. Of course in the process of finishing it, I ran out and had to do the great search for more. It always seems to happen that way. 7 rows short and I have to make a 20 mile run for yarn and so it was not finished as quickly as I would have hoped.
I used the same stitch as the Flower Power pillow.
I just chained a piece to tie up the ends.
I had thought about using a different color at the ends, but I figured that I could use it a lot longer without it. I really liked how it all turned out and it is a great addition to my bed pillows.
And of course instead of crocheted petals, I had to add some real petals from my yard.

P.S. I hate running out and having to scramble to find what I need, or worse, having to make do with something else. Glad you found more yarn, even if it took a 20-mile to get it!
