Great Granny

 So, I began loving the Dresden and then I tested a pattern and now I have found a new love.  Great Grannies!!!  They are sooo easy to put together and I absolutely love the way that they turn out.  Another great beginner quilting project.  I joined the






  I have always loved the look of the Granny squares, but when I saw the Great Granny at  Bee In My Bonnet.  I had to try them out myself.  She had the pattern all there ready to give a try. Here are my first five blocks.





This one is my favorite block!  I love the typewriter in the center!






I only have 11 more to complete before I have enough.

    1. Thank you ! I figured that Circa 1934 fabric fit for about the time my grandma was born. So, it has a little bit of a sentimental reason. Have a great weekend!

  11. I've just finished my Granny and loved it and now there is a Great Granny and I think I will have to try this out too. Love your blocks and I agree the one with the typewriter is lush.
