I love a good challenge.
I actually try to challenge myself
every quilting project that I
pick up.
As an Island Batik Ambassador,
every Ambassador has the same challenge.
This month was try something new.
I have tried so many different
techniques through the 6 years
since I began to quilt.
I was totally unsure on what I should do.
Then, I saw a picture of a cute little tuffet
pincushion, and I was hooked.
I had never made a sewn pincushion, so
why not now.
I purchased the kit through Amazon.
You can also find it at License to Quilt.
The kit came with everything except the feet,
center button, and fabric.
I used a variety of Island Batik Paisley Dot
fabrics in a spectrum of blues.
I love this little tuffet,
and it is something that I can absolutely
love and enjoy in my sewing room.
It is a beautiful little tuffet pincushion, Amy!
ReplyDeleteThe tuffet is adorable! It seems like you had a lot of fun learning this new technique. Love the swirl on the button.
ReplyDeleteLove your pincushion! When you are using it you can aim the pins for the polkadots!
