Gypsy Dance

I finished my Gypsy Dance quilt top.  My sewing machine and I didn't get along so well at the beginning, but after some practice we were getting along a lot better.   I volunteered to do a pattern test for Bree over at Distant Pickles. (My first time to test a pattern.)

It will be for sale very soon, so go check it out.  I used Moda Meadow Friends to make a cute little baby sized quilt.  It is six different fabrics out of that collection.

Don't pay too close attention, I didn't get some of the seams exact, but I really like how it turned out.  I have never made half of the requirements for this pattern.  It was a challenge for being pretty new at piecing.

Now off to the sewing machine to do some quilting!

 See ya soon!

  5. Very nicely done. This looks like a pretty straight-forward quilt to but together, but it makes a beautiful result!
