Many have asked, what

I happened to make
a Facebook Live Video with
most of the information in it.
You can watch it HERE, if

This will be a great opportunity
to use those scraps or
the fabric stash that you have
laying around in your
sewing room.
Here are my Riley Blake scraps that
I plan to use to accompany this
new beautiful set of fat quarters of
Bee Basics by Lori Holt.
There are 30 fat quarters
and a panel in this set.

(I guess I need a few greens to add to my stash)
You can find the fat quarter bundle at
Thank you to Riley Blake for providing me
with this lovely Outdoors Wood Grain Cream
from The Great Outdoors line
to be used for the background of my quilt.
If you want all of your background to be the
same, you will need 4 yards of fabric.
There are a few shops that
carry this color -
I also recommend for the applique
block that you pick up some brown
and green threads to coordinate with your fabrics
to applique stitch around the design.
We will be using other colors as well,
but these we will use the most.
You can find a huge array of
Aurifil threads at
and Craftsy.
And of course since we are doing some
applique work, you will
need sewable fusible adhesive.
I only use HeatnBond Lite
or if you dislike tracing all of
your pieces
you will fall in love with these
They work absolutely wonderful
for smaller pieces.
I also forgot to mention
what is the best way to
store those finished blocks.
I love to store my BOM blocks in
a plastic scrapbook paper case
like this one.
I picked this one up
at my local Michael's store
for less than $5.
It is a great way to store your blocks
for the entire year, and
not worry where you last saw it.
(Maybe, I am the only one with that problem)
I am overjoyed that you are
planning to join us for the 3rd Annual
Sew Incredibly Crazy and Friends Block of the Month.
There is no sign-up for this
Block of the Month.
The blocks are absolutely free
for the month that they have been released.
After that, there will be a small fee.
Here is the full schedule.
If you would like to join our Facebook group,
please stop in HERE.
We can't wait for all the fun to begin!
Couldn't get to the video. The page had expired. Oh well, I'll try again later.
