A Bouquet of Daisies FInish

Last week, we had a bit of a blizzard pass through.
The kind of blizzard that causes
the power to be out.
10 plus hours to be out.
While I would have loved to hop
on my sewing machine and add
a couple more rows to the current quilt project,
Mother Nature was not going to let me.
I guess she knew I need to finish up
my crochet WIP.

So, I picked up my Bouquet of Daisies afghan,
and went to town on it.

I was able to finish it up
and right before the electric
came back on.

Of course, I had to wait a day to take these pictures.
It doesn't look like much here, but
the drifts were quite large.

The only thing that I will miss about the snow is..
that is does make a beautiful backdrop.

The pattern for this afghan can be
found in the book Hooked on Crochet Afghans.

Pin It Now!

  1. It makes a beautiful backdrop for that beautiful project. Those colors are yummy.

  2. Amy, it absolutely gorgeous. I wish you could pick out yarn for me!

  3. Great finish. Love the colors. HATE that snow.
