The Nutcracker Christmas Row and a Giveaway

Marian at Seams to Be Sew decided that this year's
row along would have a Christmas theme.
Christmas time is one of my favorite times of the year.
So of course, I had to join in.
Go to her blog to get all the info about
this hop and giveaways HERE.

I first thought to do the 12 days of Christmas,
but then was totally unsure I
could fit all of the characters in one row.
Then, I thought of my children's love
for anything Nutcracker, so
here is my take on it.

The row is 12 1/2" x 36 1/2".
It is a combination of piecing and applique.
For any applique project, I always use
HeatnBond Lite, which you can purchase
many supplies here.

A great sponsor of this hop was
Northcott fabrics.  They have such a beautiful
selection of blender fabrics.
The face, boots, hair, and cheeks are all
from the TOSCANA Collection.

The rest of the fabrics are from
my giant stash that I am trying to make
a lot smaller.

If you would like a copy of the
pattern, please visit my Craftsy Page.
It will be free of charge until September 18th.
At that time, there will be a small fee.

And now how about a giveaway,
a beautiful bundle of fabrics from Michael Miller.
Remember, that the winner is responsible
for the shipping.
Please read any rules at Seams to be Sew

Please go and visit all of the
blogs that are also showing off their rows today.

Here is the whole schedule for the row along.

The Road Home to Colorado - My Day

Hello, It's my turn
to hit the dusty trail  on the "Road Home"!!

Welcome to my home,

COLORADO
I have lived here all of my life and know no
other state.
From my front door, I can walk and

see utter beauty.

Which inspired me to create this...

Our beautiful mountains and the picturesque plains.
This row is 12 1/2" x 36 1/2".

The pattern will be available for free - Here
at my Craftsy shop now through October 16, 2016.

Those wheat pieces are a little labor intensive,
but so worth it in the end.
