A Time for All Seasons BOM, First Blocks - Free BOM

We are so excited to begin our 4th annual 

Block of the Month

If you missed the announcement, 

this year it is 

I am so excited to be kicking off

the BOM.  

If you were curious about the theme, 

you no longer have to wait.

We again are having the best of both

worlds, 

If you like to piece blocks, 

or if you love to applique, 

we will be having both.

So here is our first blocks, 

It is fun 10 1/2" pieced block

featuring a four hearts.

Of course, we had to have applique.

It is my favorite quilting technique.

Here is the where you can

If applique is not your most favorite because

of the all the tracing.

 I have found that 

EZ Print HeatnBond Lite Sheets.

If you haven't used them yet, 

they will completely spoil you.

Quilt Specifications

I am choosing to do all of my 

blocks from all the fabrics in my 

stash.

I do have plenty!

like most quilter generally do.

If you are choosing not to use your stash, 

or to check how much background fabric you 

will need.  You will need about 4 yards of 

background fabric.

For the rest of your blocks, 

you will need a variety of different fabric colors.

If you were to buy a fat quarter set, 

something like 

School Days by Riley Blake

has such a great variety of fabric colors. 

All the blocks are free for the month that

they have been released.

After that, they will

be available for a small fee.

Each block will be found

on each designers individual Etsy page

or by other means.

We will be have 24 scheduled blocks

with a few bonus blocks included in 

this hop.
