I had the most gorgeous bundle of fabrics sitting
in my sewing room for the last few weeks.
It was Junebug by Dear Stella.
A fun mix of whimsical fabrics.
I played with them for a couple of hours
and I made myself a bible cover.
I was able to take one of my favorite bible verses and
add it to the front of the cover using
ThermOWeb's EZ Print Transfer Sheets.
A handy handle and
I made the cover so that I would
be able to zip it shut.
No worries about my pen or workbook getting lost.
I have a few more little additions that I am
going to make to the next one.
Is there anything that you would add to make
it a little more handy?
If you would like to know how easy it is
to add a verse, or quote to one of your sewing/quilting projects,
Please stop in at ThermOWeb where I am giving
a little tutorial over there today.
That is really beautiful. I love the writing on the front of it.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Amy! I love how you used those fabrics!
ReplyDeleteThe cover I have has the handles on the zippered side. When you are carrying it the
ReplyDeleteBible rests on its spine not the pages and cover. Just a personal preference.
Beautifully created Bible cover. I might like to add a ribbon to use as a page marker. Embracing Creative Bliss...
ReplyDeletewhat a delightful cover for your Bible and a good choice of verse, not sure what I would choose must have a ponder about that think I would like to make a cover too
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my favorites as well, I like the song as well. Your bible cover is making me want to make one or two for a couple of friends for christmas.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try your idea. I have several people I can think of that could use a bible cover. Beautiful project!!
