  6. Favorite flowers are hard to name..Hibiscus including Rose of Sharon and day lilies. I like most any bell shaped flower though. I have never noticed the "frost" fabric before. It is so pretty.

  12. Beautiful fabric bundle - my favorite is daffodils and my DH loves tulips - harbingers of spring and return of warmth. He planted hundreds last fall after we discovered our new home had no spring perennials.

  23. Must say that I look forward to the snowdrops and then the daffodils. I live where there are urban deer and they leave the daffodils alone, so they are "promise of spring and new growth" in my mind.

  24. In the spring after I'm so tired of winter, cold, snow etc. I look forward to watching the daffodils poke their heads up through the cold earth. And I love the quail running around the yard. thanks for the chance

  27. Hi Amy, such pretty fabric. My favorite flower is impatience. But I love butterfly bushes. And while they aren't animals I love to see the butterflies and bees . I'm going to try and get a picture of all the different types of both that visit this summer. Thanks so much for the giveaway, I'm anxious for the hop to start. I want to see all the different takes on the blocks.

  29. I like to grow zinnias as they are super easy to grow from seed and are very hardy. Plus colorful and great for cut flowers for inside the house.

  32. My favorite flowers used to be dandelions when the kids were little. There was so much joy in my kids eyes when they gave me a special bouquet. They went from weeds to treasures! Now I have tons of favorites - freesias for the scent, sunflowers for their amazing perfectness and irises for the brilliant colors. LOVE them!!

  76. I love irises and tulips. And I never realized how much I love roses, but when we moved 8 years ago, the home we moved to had the most beautiful rose bushes. So now I love them too.

  126. For flowers I really like daffodils and snapdragons. And for critters I like bunnies and chipmunks. And one that's not really a garden animal, but I used to like the deer that would come eat the apples off of our apple tree. I didn't know a deer could eat an apple.   144. Choosing one favorite flower is a challenge but the Bleeding Heart has to be one of my favorites. My great-grandmother had them in her yard and I've planted them at each house I've lived. I, too, enjoy hummingbirds and I'm looking forward to their return this Spring. The BOM looks very interesting and will be fun to sew along--love me a good mystery quilt.

  148. I love daisies. I don't usually grow flower gardens but my mother always does a great job of keeping alive a garden barrel full of them. a few years ago she would plant inside rotted out tree stumps and that was super cute.
