My Happy Place and Giveaway

Welcome to my day of the

I am so excited to be joining Marian of
Seams to Be Sew for this years
Row Along.
I have joined in on the row along the
every year and have enjoyed the creative
process in designing for each one.
This one was no different.

Our task was to find our HAPPY PLACE.
Well, I absolutely love being able
to go to church,
to spend time with my family,
to go to the mountains,
to my garden,
to sew in my sewing room..
The list could go on and on.
I love each and every one of
these, but I thought about
another direction to go in.

Well, I gave a little hint on my Facebook
and Instagram page.

Can you guess where my Happy Place is?
Well,
I find that my Happy Place is
in this country that I live in.
It allows me so many freedoms,
that others do not have the opportunity of.
So, I chose to make a representation
of the USA.

Mr. Uncle Sam.
I am a little stuck on the whole
Nutcracker theme, so
be prepared this could continue
for awhile.
My row from last year is proof
of that.

You can find the free pattern to
Uncle Sam, HERE.

After a bit,
he will be available to be purchased for a fee.

A huge thank you to Northcott Fabrics.
Uncle Sam's face, cheek color,
nose, and boots were all cut from
the Toscana Collection.
I love the beautiful variation in
the fabric.
Just Gorgeous!!

How about a wonderful little giveaway:
An LED Light: a $30 value
(Sewing Machine not included)

I know our judicial system is far from perfect and there are some problems with it, but when I see how people are treated by the judicial systems in other countries, I am very glad that I was born here and have the rights that I do. Thank you for the free pattern.
