See YOU In September (Seriously Already) and Giveaway

SEE you in SEPTEMBER BLOGGERS..

HELLO ALL!!
 I have missed you
all sew much.

Thanks of course to Mdm Samm of Sew We Quilt
and Shari of Living with Purpose

I have been super busy
doing a little remodeling
throughout the WHOLE
summer.

I have painted 4 rooms
inside of our home and painted the complete outside
of our home also.
WAY to much Painting
and not enough sewing.
(I could have shown you pictures of that,
but they are not as fun)

And on top of it all
I was unable to use my
sewing machine,
but in the process I did
A LOT of hand stitching

First, I finished this cute little bib.
I decided to applique the flower
instead of stitching it.

Next, I did a little embroidery on
a Retro Apron.  I think I
am going to have to add
a little ruffle to the edge.
But with only having a sewing
machine for the past week.
It had to wait for my last project.

My Sewing Room Quilt
It is in my very favorite colors.
I absolutely adore
RBD Gingham in Aqua.
Just beautiful.

And here is a little peek of my sewing room
I can't wait to have it all
put together and organized.

I do have my fabric
in order, so
very soon I can
get busy quilting away.
I hope you all
enjoyed my  summer SEWING projects.

You can find all the embroidery patterns, apron,
and bib I used

Sew, How about a giveaway?
Colonial Patterns was kind enough
to sponsor a generous little
giveaway.

There will be 3 winner.
Each winner will receive

http://www.colonialpatterns.com/shop/product/retro-fancy-white-apron/

You will be able to make your own apron
and a bib for that
little cutie in your life.

  9. YES. It is September already! And after all the rain we had over here, it felt more like a rain season then summer.... Luckily we will be having an Indian Summer (well, according to the people that promised us the hottest summer ever.....) lasting till October.
I love your apron most. No, I mean the quilt. No, no. The bib..... I love them all! Thanks for sharing!

  10. You have been busy, busy, busy this summer. You must have quite an arm from all that painting, Your stitching is great and I love the touch of applique on the bib. You are quite a seamstress to be able to whip out that wonderful quilt in just a week of having your machine back. Wow! It is awesome. I love it. I wish my sewing room looked any where near that neat. Thanks as always for participating and all the wonderful inspiration.

Hand stitching might help some, but I sure do find comfort in the purring of the sewing machine motor. :-) Your projects look great and I am looking forward to seeing the finished room.
