ReplyDeleteI haven't done very many holiday projects so far, but my favourite has to be my Hourglass Patches XMas quilt which I finished just a couple of weeks ago! I love your new header by the way... :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Amy!! My fav ourite holiday project this year has been hanging tea towels. I made the first two in July for Christmas iin July and has just finished another 5. Great for mother in law, sister in law and auntie in law gifts!! Oh and I loved making my Vintage Holiday quilt for the QAL!

ReplyDeleteI am a new follower.. and usually at the beginning of each year we have a HUGE dinner, almost like a ball of sorts.. my family has been doing this since I was two and my mom is on the decorating committee so I enjoy being a part of that and picking out our dresses and amking the little things we need for the event.

ReplyDeleteLast year, after decades of lamenting my lack of, I finally made a tree skirt! A funky modern quilted one. woohoo! It's still my favorite. I am actually looking forward to getting a tree this year, just so I can bring out the skirt!!

Very nice job on your snowman table runner and super job on paper piecing the nativity. My favorite Christmas things to make are ornaments with felt or wool felt. Also small Holiday wall hanging... My family is too messy for a table runner.. maybe a mug rug would work..

ReplyDeleteGuess what? I am a loyal follower of yours. Christmas Eve is spent at my Moms. The whole family gets together to hug, exchange stories, eat great food and exchange presents. On the way home, my husband drives around the subdivision and we check out all the lawn decorations. It is a wonderful felling when it all comes together and then folks ask you where you bought your wreath from. I like for mine to be very different and express my creativity.
