A Few more Grannies

Well, it is week two of working on my Great Grannies and I am still totally loving them.  I actually finished all of the blocks this last week and here they all are.

I really can't decided which my favorite is anymore.  I really like them all.  I intend to put a border piece separating the blocks.  I also want to add borders around the perimeter of the quilt to make it a little larger.

I really don't know how I want to quilt it yet.  I was thinking of quilting in the ditch.  If any of you have any suggestions on how to quilt it, I would love it!

  5. Those are really joyous blocks!! The colors remind me of a diner somewhere for some reason:) As for the quilting, maybe emphasize those diamonds at each intersection of 4 granny squares and then do stitch on the ditch for the blocks.

  22. Beautiful colours for your Great Grannies! I'm a huge fan of the aquas and reds and such going around, but it's nice to see something different for once! I did a great granny table runner and echo quilted around each great granny block.
