Welcome to the Fat Quarter Shop Brilliant Cut Blog Hop!
What is A Brilliant Cut?
Well....,
It is this beauty.
As some would say, a girl's best friend.
There example was done in beautiful
Moda's Sew Solids blue.
So rich and gorgeous.
I chose a slightly different color scheme.
I wasn't quite sure what I had planned for
this mini until I put pieced together
the block.
It was a cinch.
Made piecing the diamond perfection.
I can see using this tool in many other projects
After piecing the diamond,
I fondly recalled a lullaby that
I would sing my babies.
I am sure most of
you can figure out the song.
A Mocking Bird
A Looking Glass
and of course the Billy Goat
or as my husband says "The Old Goat".
It is my Hush Little Baby quilt
with a Brilliant Cut Diamond Ring block
from the Fat Quarter Shop.
The shine for the berry, diamond, mirror and glasses was added by using
iCraft® DECO FOIL™ which you can find here.
