After finishing my picnic quilt, I decided to
write the PATTERN
14 pages, 16 photos....
and you can find it HERE...
It is my VERY FIRST QUILT PATTERN!!
I never imagined two years ago
when I picked up quilting that I
would be writing a pattern.
I made a call out on my blog and some
very gracious ladies tested out
and here are a few of the results.....
Mary Pat of Quietly Quilting,
Martina of Sunshine Quilting
Made THREE
Shauna of Shauna's World
Maria of Mia's Creation
Joan of MooseStash Quilting
Tyler at Comfort and Wubbies
Abby at ColorBar Quilts
Andrea at Tideline Quilts
Aren't they just gorgeous? It amazes me
how the same pattern can look so different.
One of these ladies had never pieced a quilt before.
I have several more to show you,
but I will save them for tomorrow.
Thanks again to these lovely ladies
who were so willing to lend a hand.
Thank you for letting me test your pattern Amy. I had such a wonderful time and it's given me the confidence to try large quilts now.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Amy! All of the variations are wonderful and show the versatility of the pattern. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThis is really a fabulous pattern...for so many ladies to "make it their own"; they really are each beautiful in their own right! Great job Amy, and testers. Love how the pattern was used in different ways too...just the inspiration I needed.
ReplyDeleteAll so beautiful, and so different. I too am always amazed at how one pattern can be done exactly the same, with different fabrics, and look like a complete different pattern.
ReplyDeleteAmy, it's wonderful, congratulations. This is such a great showcase of the possiblities. Your team of testers did you proud.
ReplyDeleteAmy great pattern. I just bought it. The ladies did a fantastic job of showing all the various looks this pattern is capable of. You will do very well with this I am sure.
ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, thank you for letting me test your pattern! The pattern is so clear and straightforward, it is a joy to put together. The diversity of all the quilts is amazing! Well done you!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! Congratulations Amy!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how each interpretation of the pattern made up so well. Each one is mouth-dropping gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy! I had a ball testing this! Thanks so much for letting me be one of the testers. Just loved seeing all the variations, so much fun. Think you've got a winner with this pattern - congratulations!
