I have had nothing but fun during this hop
and being your head cheerleader.
When, I heard that I was going to
cheer this hop, I got busy
right away.
My boys all love to cook. So, I decided
that they needed some
nice towels to have for
their kitchen when they get older.
I finished all seven of them.
I used Aunt Martha's iron on
transfers.
Then, I decided, I just couldn't stop there.
I needed to quilt something up.
I had difficulty just finding the material
that fit the design I had in my head.
Even the white material
at the quilt shop had bows and flowers in it.
Yuck!!!
Yuck!!!
All types of little boy and gobs of girl material,
but a very small selection that screamed
boy teen / tween.
But after an hour of searching,
my son and I had picked
out the material for his
out the material for his
quilt.
It is another one of my larger quilts that
I have finished. Measuring
around 80"x 90".
My son calls it
The Highway to You Know Where Quilt!!
(His exact words)
I guess it depends on which
way the arrow is pointing.
Hahaha!
Hahaha!
I used some straight line quilting with Aurifil
variegated grey #4670. It blended so well
into the dirty grey looking background.
Well, that is all I finished here, so
Go check out the rest of these
super talented ladies and if you missed the other days
you can check out them out
