and a big thanks to Electric Quilt for a fabulous giveaway!
It is no surprise that I love to play
with my EQ7 software.
I have worked up several quilting projects on it.
For my Fall sample, I used all the shapes on the
left side bar. First, I started with a circle,
I flattened it out a bit.
Added a few half moons to each side of the circle
Made a rectangle and then used the edit tool to make a stem
Added a couple leaf shapes
Colored the pumpkin, you could use this as a pillow or
If you like Halloween, you can add a cute little face on it with a couple triangles and
a rectangle that I played with a bit for the mouth.
It is super easy to work up a wall hanging.
Or a table runner.
Just think,
You won't have to buy any more patterns...
You will be able to make your own.
How would you like win your very own EQ7 software?

That is so awesome! I would love to have this software :)
ReplyDeleteThis software would make my life so much more random-paper free! I have a tendency to scribble ideas on scraps of paper, then they get tucked away for later discovery, boy I'd love to have all that on the computer! Thanks for the opportunity, and I really enjoy your eyeball below too!
ReplyDeleteThis software looks so useful!:)
ReplyDeleteI have EQ - but still that artist's pad is by the computer. Thank you for sharing today.

ReplyDeleteFun pumpkin! I like the table runner layout the best :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to play with an image. Is it easy or difficult to manipulate the image within the software? For example, sometimes I have difficulty manipulating the shapes in microsoft word (hope you know what I mean) and I have to keep starting over. I like both the wall hanging and the table runner. The wall hanging would look fantastic also with a mix of pumpkins, squash, and or gourds. Oooh, I think I am in love with this software...inspiration here I come. Thanks for sharing!
