Hexie-licious Giveaway #1 - Closed

Well, tomorrow is the start to the

My grand project unveiling is in a little less than two hours and I barely finished it up in time.  Nothing like last minute, right?  I tried several different products during this project.  One of my favorites is Aurifil 12 wt. thread.  I hand-quilted everything using this gorgeous thread.  I loved it!!

 
 Well, I ran into a bit of trouble trying to find it.  After being pointed in the right direction, I was introduced to Donna at Follow That Thread.  She was so nice and willing to help me find perfectly matched thread and she had it in stock.   A Win , Win!!  I could not be more pleased with the great customer service she so willingly gave.

Well, her kindness continues.  How would you like to win a set of Aurifil thread samplers?


Beautiful threads in a rainbow of colors.  You can have a sample pack that contains a spool of 50 wt., 40 wt., 28 wt., 12 wt., and the Lana 12 wt., which is a blend of 50/50 acrylic and Australian wool.  (I am a bit jealous)

    I can tell you my favorite Aurifil Thread color from Follow That Thread without even looking ... it is 2021 ... 50/2 ... which I buy on the big cones. I use this exclusively for piecing. I buy it from Follow That Thread ... at vendor booths at local quilt shows. I also use a lot of Aurifil threads. I am a big fan of Follow That Thread... :) Pat

    All the colors are wonderful but I love the lilac color (1243) best. And I absolutely love your hexie quilt! It has a vintage feel but the solids make it so modern too. Very beautiful and dramatic!

    I LOVE Aurifil Thread. I was first introduced to it at a quilt chapter meeting. I have recently started using the variegated threads. My favorite color is #4663. Picking just one color is impossible. I will add to my collection slowly.

    I love the lana wool!!! and I love #8009!! But it is hard to pick a color because I use sew many different colors for my "Quilt Painting"!!! At least that is what I call it!! :)

    An impossible task...choosing just one color...I love the variegated threads and am anxious to try one on my next quilt. I have 3 king sized quilts to finish for Christmas (2 tops done and working on the 3rd) I will have a quilt fest when I get this one finished..

    Thank you for the 3 chances to win aurifil thread. My favorite color thread is blue although I love them all. I follow your blog by email and I signed on to follow "Follow the Thread" on facebook. I also love the "eat your Veggies" thread set by Pat Sloan. I think it would match the batiks I am using to make my hexagon quilt for my bed.

    I love the purple #2525 because it reminds me of the Tanzanite stone in my rings! Sometimes is looks purple and sometimes it looks blue. I have followed the blog on Facebook and also have become a blog follower of yours!
