O'Kelley's Clovers with Island Batik

I am quite excited to bring you
my first project as an Island Batik Ambassador.

Our challenge as an Ambassador
was to create a Mini Quilt.

Inside the box of goodies that Island Batiks
sent me, were these beautiful greens.

They are from the Paisley Dot collection.
You can find the pretties HERE.
The ones I ended up choosing were
 Lime, Leprechaun, Fairway, and Chartreuse
and of course some Aurifil threads to match.

Since I am a wee bit Irish, I decided to make
up this mini quilt that I had designed
a few years ago.
You can see my first version HERE

I simply love how this mini quilt
finished up.
If you are interested in the pattern,
you can find it HERE

I hope you will stop
in to see our challenge
next month.

Island Batik Ambassador 2018

In December, I read a post
by Island Batik stating that they
were looking for Ambassadors
for 2018.

I spoke to my Quilty Friend
She has been an Ambassador
for a couple of years, and she
totally encouraged me to
fill out the application.

Well, I applied and ....

I WAS ACCEPTED!!!

Let's say I was a little
excited to be able to work
with such beautiful fabrics
and be challenge by
an exceptional group of
talented quilter.

All of the ambassadors were
waiting patiently for the first box
of goodies to arrive.
Mine showed up on Thursday morning,
but my kids enjoy the excitement of
opening new fabrics as much as I do,
so I waiting until the afternoon to open it up
with them and
look at all the beauties that they
sent me.
All 22 pounds of it!!!

I am an ambassador for Island Batik, the products featured in this post were given to me by Island Batik.

There are oodles of fabric fun in my box.

I am especially in love with the
pretty blues.
Aren't they just gorgeous!?

Two different types of
Hobbs Batting, which I am excited to
try out as well
and to top it all
off

What quilting gal
doesn't love a good spool of thread
or 6 and a cone of Aurifil.
My very first cone of thread!!

Thanks to Island Batiks for giving me this opportunity to
be an Ambassador.
I look forward to sharing a year of projects and patterns
with all of you on my newest journey.

Put a Little Love in Your Heart Hop

Welcome to
Sew Incredibly Crazy
where it is my day to
show off my Love project.
Thanks to Carol of Just Let Me Quilt
for hosting this fun hop.

I first started off just
thinking that I should
do a mug rug,

but that just wouldn't do.
It was cute and all,
but it just wasn't quite what I was
thinking.
If you wish you can find the
free pattern HERE

Then, I decided to make some
a little different.

It is the fabric line
Woof Woof Meow by Stacy Iest Hsu for Moda.
You can find the fabrics HERE.

They have that pop art feel to them.
My daughter already has claimed the
puppy and the kitty will be for my
niece's birthday.

You can find the pattern
on my Craftsy Pattern page, HERE.
It will be half off through
February 14th.
