In Our Garden Block of the Month - Blocks 7 & 8

Here we are with Month Number Four of the

I get more excited with each of the
blocks that are released with this hop.
Miss Carla of Creatin' in the Sticks
created the cuties for this
month

Block #7
Flower Box

Block #8
Bath Time

Carla is using fun and bright fabrics from Riley Blake.
I sure do love how happy her blocks are looking.

The patterns for Blocks 7 & 8 are available for free
until the end of the month of May.
Go and check out her blog to see how to pick them up.

She is also having a giveaway for

The Fat Quarter Shop!

Here are my versions of her beautiful blocks made from
Riley Blake Calico Days by Lori Holt and
a few other Riley Blake fabrics.

I fussy cut the center.
I chose not to snowball the corners,
so that the sweet gardening lady
would not have any of her removed.
That just wouldn't be proper.

Here are the nine blocks together.

Just loving them.

We would love for you to join us
and show off your blocks.
You can do this by joining us on
our Facebook Group

and/or Flickr Group.

O'Kelley's Clovers: A New Pattern

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook,
You have seen the progress of my mini
quilt that I started just a few days shy
of St. Patty's day.

Well, I am proud to say
that I completed the quilt just in time
for it to be displayed on our table.

And I do believe that is one of
my favorites.
A collection of my favorite soft greens,
that always draw my
attention.

I decided to hand quilt the entire piece.
I used Aurifil 12 wt. thread in a coordinating green and white.
I couldn't be more pleased with it.

I have noticed since quilting and playing with
colors that greens and aquas,
seem to be my go to colors.

I look into my fabric stash,
and they are filling more than the
rest of the shelves.

They seem to make my heart happy.

I want to thank the lovely ladies
that tested this mini out for me.
I really appreciate it tremendously.

If you are looking to get a head start on your St. Patty's Day décor.
I do believe this would make a perfect addition.

You can find the pattern HERE
in my Craftsy Store.
