Quilty Stitches Finish

I am happy to say that
I am all finished up with
my Quilty Stitches that
was going on at LMS.

It was only supposed to be 16 blocks
but I added the other four to
make it rectangular to fit in the
frame.
 I hadn't cross-stitched in a few
years and I loved the simplicity
and well...
the Quiltiness of it.  I just
couldn't help but to join in.

It has happily
found a wall to hang on
in my sewing room.

I had contemplated adding a little
fabric border around the edge,
but I am just not sure if
I will or not.
Any Suggestions?

  1. Love it! I'm no where near finished and I'm not sure how I'll finish mine either. I love the way you framed it for your sewing area. It will stay nice an clean and can be admired. Nice job!

  5. Your quilty stitches looks wonderful. Mine is finished too but the frame I had just doesn't suit. That was a good idea to add an extra row. Rectangle frames are so much easier to get.

  6. Awesome! A finished project! And it is wonderful. No fabric is needed as far as I'm concerned. Mine only has 1 row so far! :(

  8. It looks perfect just like it is ! AH, I wrote that, then read Carla's comment. No, I'm not kidding you ! I have an old gold frame that would look awesome painted white. I assume you painted yours...you've painted everything in your line of vision this summer haven't you ?

  9. Hmm. A border night give it the look of a quilt with an inner border and the frame as the outer border. It sure is a beautiful keepsake.

  10. Love this as is! But a border might be cute if it doesn't steal the spotlight.

  11. Congratulations! I'm still working on mine, and that is fine. I love having a project to go to when I need something to do with my hands. I love the colors you used.

  12. LIKE! I've been a cross stitcher for years and really wanted to join in on this but I'm just too swamped.
