I am so glad that you could join me on this beautiful April day. Usually, in April, we have a lot of wind. I don't mind a breeze, but the wind in not one of my favorite things in the world, but today the sun is shining. So why don't you sit down on the patio and have a nice cup on coffee with me. I love to enjoy a good piping hot cup a coffee with a friend. My week has been a little rough, so I'm glad that you came to visit.
And here you go. Coffee, mug rug, the sun shinning on the patio, there is nothing better. Would you care for a pastry? No, well I too prefer just a nice cup of Joe.
I did make the mug rug. It is my first! And way more difficult than I expected.
You really have to work with a much smaller area to quilt. I was not really prepared for how petite and tedious work was on this little rug. Why pinwheels you ask? One of the only good things about the wind is that you can either fly a kite or watch the kids holding spinning pinwheels in their small hands.

I am so glad that you stopped by and paid me a little visit. Stop by any old time! The coffee or tea will be hot and ready. :) And if you are hopping along drop by and say hello to the others who are sharing their creations with us.
