So, I found a new love this weekend. I had purchase several purse handles at the fabric store at a huge discount. (lets say several months ago) I kept meaning to make a couple purses, but lacked the vision. Then, it hit me. To combine two of my favorite things together. Yarn and sewing made what I think a quite nice combination.
A fun hot pink pineapple design with a black fabric background makes for a one of a kind purse.
I added two zippers, one to close the bag and the other as a interior zipper. The inside is a super fun lime and turquoise peace batik. Pretty groovy! (A little too cool for me)
I love this, but I had to give it away. But it was okay because I will show you later what I made myself. Well, that isn't all that I finished this weekend. I decided to join a CAL with Crochet Happy, slightly late, but it is better late than never.
I used Red Heart Soft yarn. It is such a rich brown and turquoise color. It is so snugly and soft and just in time because we are expecting a little snow.
Not only did I finish two projects, but I Stash-busted three whole skeins of yarn. Yipee!!!

The bag is wonderful, and actually useful. Some of the time I see bags people make and just wonder. But that one would actually work out.
