I can remember as a pre-teen going to the local book store and sitting
on the floor. Looking through all the great mysteries by Carolyn
Keene. Hoping by chance that I would get to pick out and take home one
of those great stories. What great adventures they held!! Yes, I have a soft spot for Nancy Drew. They were filled with mystery, a great heroine, and they began my love of reading!

Well, when they announced the hop, I was disappointed because it was right after the holidays and I knew that there was no way that I would be able to join. Well, thanks to a small fabric delay, it worked in my favor. I was glad to join in have and fun with an ionic figure from my childhood and one of current favorite things (Ohhhhhh, Moda Fabric!!!)
But before we get to my finished project, I had to show you a great sleuth mystery quilting tool.
I had seen that there were these erasable gel pens that with a short trip with an iron would disappear like magic. Like a secret decoder pencil, I was skeptical that anything could work that well. I had to try it out on this project. And.....
