Thank you for the inspiration to get busy and get them done! You are right, it's not a quilt until it's quilted and the binding is on. I had more than 70 UFO's...a lot were table runners and none were queen sized quilts, but still.....I turned 60 two years ago and they finally started bothering me. My sister was here for a couple of weeks and she helped me make a list and I've been chipping away at it and will confess on my blog one of these days when I have cut the pile in half!! Feeling good about getting these things done. I love piecing blocks. I found your blog via Kathy's blog (Kathy has also inspired me to keep working on the UFO's). Thanks for the encouragement and will keep plugging away at it. Until...."squirrel"....a new project begs my attention! LOL I love how these two quilts turned out! I have been sending quite a few to a long arm quilter too to help me get caught up :-)Jacqui's Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04377061976067861699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3015941167016172016.post-331440577437641112018-04-25T13:14:51.845-06:002018-04-25T13:14:51.845-06:00I'm glad not to be the only one with 10 tops t...I'm glad not to be the only one with 10 tops to finish off !! So let's get the quilting mojo ON! I did great to stick with a single quilt from first cut through the last stitch in the binding until I spent 7 months house/pet sitting for my daughter (who lived across the country) while she was deployed. I could not take my longarm with me and had little to do outside of piecing, so I made a ton of quilt tops! When I got home, customer quilts took first place in line so my quilt tops just sat waiting patiently. Now that I've spent the last 2 years in another state caring for my dad, more quilt tops are accumulating! When I finally get home for good, I'll only be using my sewing machine to create backings and bindings! I really don't want my beautiful quilt tops to just be used by my daughter who will inherit all my quilting stuff just to learn how to quilt!!Farm Quilterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01670652033638218941noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3015941167016172016.post-60451425922249037872018-04-24T14:06:17.103-06:002018-04-24T14:06:17.103-06:00It's nice to have a quilt top finished, but so...It's nice to have a quilt top finished, but so satisfying to have it quilted and able to use!
