Fat Quarter Shop Star Crossed

I have been admiring the beauty of
Fresh Cut by Basic Grey fabrics.
They have such a sweet vintage
feels to them.

I have been debating what to
use these beauties on.

Then the Fat Quarter Shop recently released a new pattern
called Star Crossed based on an
antique quilt they loved.

I thought that the pattern
fit the beautiful fabrics.

I was going to make a pretty little
lap quilt to have in my
living room to cuddle up with
during the cold winter months.

But, I started putting the blocks
together and absolutely fell
in love with the scrappy
stars.

Now, I have plans now to make this into
a queen sized quilt.
I would have loved to have it
all pieced together,
but life sometimes
has different plans.

I can't wait to have this
beauty all finished and
gracing my bed.

The Star Crossed pattern gives you the sizes to make a
Lap, Twin, Queen or King size.

Be sure to check out these blogger
today to see the other amazing projects
being made with the Star Crossed pattern.

Getting Closer

Not a whole lot of
sewing has been going on
at my home.

I have been crocheting the evenings away
on my Sophie.

I just finished Part 11.
I have 6 more parts to complete
on her.

We had about 10 inches of snow
on Mother's Day,
(Although you would never know it now)
so the grass has really greened up
around the house.

My Sophie looks quite a bit different
now than in this picture,
so does the grass.

I'll probably show her off next
after she is all finished up.
You can find the pattern for this

I have to get cutting on these
beautiful fabrics

Just LOVE Fresh Cut.
I have big plans for these pretty little posies.

A New Adventure!!

I decided  a little over a week ago
to start on a new adventure.
A very exciting adventure.

Here is my little secret.

http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?u=769590&b=477359&m=46996&afftrack=&urllink=thermoweb%2Ecom%2Fblog%2Fdesigners%2F

I am joining an amazing line-up
of  talented ladies.
You can meet them all at
Meet Our Designers page.

I had to share the pic for the Designer page
 that my sweet daughter took.
We both were laughing so hard,
that I was surprised I could use any of the pictures.
(I should have shown you the outtakes.)

I decided to join Therm-o-Web because
I have used their
products on such huge variety
of my quilting projects.

 I am always using
the HeatnBond Lite for
applique.

I am really looking forward to playing
with one of their newer products, iCraft Deco Foils.  They
add a little bling to your projects.

 Therm-O-Web
is having a giveaway.

Go stop by Therm-O-Web and put you name in!!
